Orlando is currently choreographing the star-studded CHERRY ORCHARD opening at Classic Stage in New York on December 4th. Directed by Andrei Belgrader and starring John Turturro and Dianne Wiest, you’ll have to fight for a ticket. See here for details.
Meanwhile, The Clown School has begun rehearsals for its long-awaited debut production. Created by David Bridel, and co-produced with the multi-award-winning Four Clowns, LUNATICS AND ACTORS is based on the remarkable experiments of the 19th Century scientist Duchenne de Boulogne. Expect sheer theatrical madness when the production opens, in workshop format, in May 2012.
And two more for your calendar: Orlando’s newest version of THE WORLD IN THE MOON opens at the Juilliard School on February 15th… While David is preparing his own one-man performance SUBLIMITY, based on the work of Romantic poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge. Stay tuned for more details.
